Born in Edinburgh in 1944, Jane Bhandari has lived in India for 45 years.

She is a poet and a prolific writer. ‘Single Bed’ (poems) was published by Writer’s Workshop in 2001.
‘Aquarius’ (poems), was published by Harbour Line in 2002.

Her poems have appeared in several anthologies.

Her stories for children, ‘The Long Thin Jungle’ and ‘The Round Square Chapatti’, were published by India Book House in l976.
