A gem of a book about how animals respond to fear. At a subtle level it also seems to tell a child that it's alright to be scared and that many animals in the wild too - from a tiny millipede to a jumping kangaroo are also scared at times.

The book also informs the child how various creatures respond to fear. Some curl up, some change colour and some puff up.

What should a child do when he is scared? Well, mother and father are always close at hand, reassures the author.

It is a well laid-out book with simple and easy to read text and big, bright visuals which will delight a child and make her keep wanting to read the book again and again.
