Tsomo and the Momo is a delightfully quirky little book, with a happy, bright story that is begging to be read aloud, complete with accompanying sound effects and hand actions.

In the book, Tsomo is a hungry little girl who demands to eat a momo as big as the moon. From this simple and surreal premise, the story reaches an equally dream like ending that will definitely have any young child giggling helplessly and asking for a re-read.

The illustrations are equally adorable and colourful, often flowing about the pages and adding to the ridiculousness of the book.

The description of the momo as well is temptingly lip smacking so keep some on hand if possible!

While not heavy on new words or phrases, the book works best as an appetizer and not a main course but like the titular momo, it packs a compact yet satisfying punch that both young children and adults alike will enjoy!
