There are counting books and counting books, so why am I highly recommending this one, you may wonder.

Let me in turn enumerate ten reasons for why I think that this book scores high on a scale of 1 - 10.

ONE.  it is ludicrously funny.

TWO.  it is very well illustrated.

THREE. It conveys a subtle, yet, important message of harmonious living.

FOUR.  It introduces children to many Indian animals.

FIVE. It is in simple yet effective verse.

SIX. It has a clean and uncluttered layout.

SEVEN. It exposes children to one of our traditional art forms - Gond.

EIGHT. Great adjectives - goofy, dreamy, hefty, to name a few

NINE. Very few writers can pull off nonsense verse. And Anushka Ravishankar does this brilliantly.

TEN. I simply love it.
