A humourus story set in a tiny little village called Khajuria, in which the villagers are all agog wondering what Masterji was planning to do for the Ram-lila celebrations that year.

Every year he brought out a special show based on the Ramayana, such as, Sita's swayamvar or Rama's exile and so on. Kallu and his friends wondered who would be selected for this year's performance and tried their level best to get into the good books of Masterji, with the hope of getting into the show.

A simple story, well-written bringing to the fore vignettes of life in the village and the sweet innocence of childhood.
