Note for Parents

We are happy to announce Lets Care! as the theme for the 6th Leading Reading Schools of India Awards [LRSIA] 2019.

As you are aware every year Young India Books encourages children to read books that will provoke their curiosity and make them think. [See details of previous years’ themes at end]. Year after year the children have produced some extremely introspective and amazing work.

This year’s theme, Let’s Care! will enable readers to care and share in order to “learn to live together” [Delors Report to the UNESCO (in 2000) on Education in the Millennium, refers to ‘Learning to live together’ as one of the four major pillars of education.]
