It is our curiosity as artists that we seek new lands in our works. Life as an artist is akin to clairvoyance. Delving deep into the conscious and sub terrains of the psyche. It is this unending fathomless ocean that gives rise to artistic passions.

These gifts are an expression of oneself, in these creations one express what lies within ones natural talent. And thus is born a work of art

As an artist and a woman I feel akin to the embodiments bestowed on Pandora, for without curiosity where would my work be, for without love how would one express, for without creativity how would I journey in my caravan of dreams and hopes.

I have been working with children for the past 2 decades, holding art and theatre workshops for institutions like the British Council and established galleries.

Very early in my career as an artist, I have illustrated two books for children by Gowri Ramnarayan, "Abu's World and Abu's World Again" .

In the recent past Tulika books commissioned the artworks for Ju's Story by Paul Zachariah. It was wonderful to journey through the eyes of a child.

As an artist and printmaker i have participated in over 12 solo shows , over 40 group shows, international shows both in the area of printmaking and painting (about 20 shows).
I have attended many art camps and won the senior fellow ship award for year 2005 to 2007. The sate award for print making. My works have been auctioned by Christie's and for other causes.

My eclectic career has opened many doors and vistas of exploration .
